Roy Pace

Roy Pace has been playing and teaching this game since the 1960’s. He puts a lot of energy and passion into helping each student get better at Golf. Roy played college golf at Louisiana Tech where he won the Gulf States Conference individual title three times. He joined the PGA Tour in 1964 and played on the PGA Tour for ten years. He won the Magnolia Classic in 1971. Roy became the Golf Professional at Wee Burn CC in Darien, CT in 1976 and was there through 1999. He is now the co-owner of Alpine Target Golf and spends most of his time instructing golfers of all abilities. He started The First Tee of The Piney Woods five years ago and serves as president of the chapter. Roy has partnered with Ted Sheftic for 20 years in The Pace Sheftic Golf School in Vero Beach, Florida. Ted is a Top 100 Teacher in America by Golf Magazine

He has received a number of awards through the years and still teaches with the same energy that he did years ago. He reaches out to golfers of all ages and abilities. Roy enjoys teaching golfers of all ages and abilities. He blends mechanics with developing the mental side of the game. He uses the JC VIDEO SYSTEM with all lessons and students get a DVD of the lesson.

Roy’s Rates

Individual lesson – $85 for one hour
Series of Six Lessons- $420.00($70/Hour)
Special Group Clinics- 5 lessons for $150
